Biography

Education

  • Ph D in Applied Mathematics, Clarkson University
  • MS in Applied Mathematics, Clarkson University
  • BS in Mathematics and Computer Science, Clarkson University

Brian Bradie received his PhD in applied mathematics from Clarkson University. After a two-year position as a J. Willard Gibbs instructor with the Mathematics Department at Yale University, he joined the faculty at Christopher Newport University in 1993, where he has remained ever since. Brian is the author of the text "A Friendly Introduction to Numerical Analysis." Away from mathematics, he enjoys watching The Big Bang Theory with his family and serving as the Faculty Representative for the CNU Women's Lacrosse team.
