I received my BA in Economics and Mathematics at Mercer University in Macon, GA, then my MA and PhD in Economics at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. My research focuses on education policy and am especially interested in equity issues in education and the experiences of teachers. I enjoy exploring new places (local and elsewhere), singing, watching sports, and spending time with my cats.
