Parking and Transportation Services

Parking and Transportation Services manages Christopher Newport’s parking facilities and state vehicle motor pool.

CNU is a decal-controlled campus. All visitors must register with Parking and Transportation Services or University Police in order to park on campus.

For parents wishing to purchase a student's parking decal online, the form requires the student to be logged in to CNU Connect. You can also purchase decals at the Parking and Transportation Services office.

Electric Vehicle Charging

As part of our commitment to sustainability, Christopher Newport provides access to the charging infrastructure necessary for electric, gas-alternative vehicles. Electric vehicles (EVs) help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve campus ambient air quality and help to move CNU toward sustainability.

Thanks to a generous gift from the Class of 2018, we have installed a Level-2 SemmaConnect EV charging station on the ground level of the Ferguson Center parking garage, across from the Office of Parking and Transportation Services (PTS).

Report issues with the charging station to PTS during regular business hours at (757) 594-7129, and to University Police after hours at (757) 594-7777.
