We offer the bachelor of arts degree in fine and performing arts. You can choose between two majors:
Art History Major
Art from the past continues to influence the present. Art History majors explore a wide variety of artistic traditions and learns to analyze artworks within their historical, social, and cultural contexts. Art Historians develop vital critical thinking, research, and writing skills while uncovering the deeper meanings and influences behind visual traditions.
Studio Art Major & Concentrations
Unleash your creativity and bring your artistic vision to life with a Studio Art degree! Whether you’re passionate about 2D & 3D Design like painting and sculpture, Graphic Design, or Photography and Video Art, this program offers hands-on experience in a variety of art mediums. Students develop technical skills, gain new techniques, and expand their artistic vision in a dynamic and supportive environment related to their chosen concentration.
Our goal is to educate and prepare students for graduate study and for leadership in teaching and other arts-related professions.
