But, Doesn’t Tuition Cover All That?

No. Tuition alone does not cover all the needs of the university. Your President’s Parent and Family Council gift helps to fund many programs or areas that will directly enrich the lives of our students.

The CNU President’s Parent and Family Council provides an opportunity to understand the short-and long-term objectives of CNU and to get to know the CNU faculty and staff on a personal level. It offers insight to existing and proposed programs designed to support the CNU community and the possibility to become involved in these programs on a large or small scale. The connections made with the faculty and staff facilitate communication and provide a forum to convey concerns, express new ideas, and participate in providing additional opportunities to the students (i.e., internships, full-time positions). A bonus of membership are the connections made with the other CNU parents. It is a great chance to hear their experiences and the advice they offer. The smaller gatherings in the students’ hometowns continue to foster these friendships and provide a stronger sense of camaraderie.
